Jennifer Kolb Therapy in North Carolina

About Jennifer

Jennifer's clinical experience includes providing individual and group counseling in an inpatient behavioral health setting, working as a substance abuse counselor at an outpatient addiction treatment center, and providing mental and behavioral health crisis counseling as part of a mobile response team.

Jennifer previously practiced with an interdisciplinary group of clinicians before establishing her own small group practice with two esteemed colleagues. Since then, she has transitioned to her current private practice.

Many of Jennifer's clients also know her as someone who spent close to 20 years in the book industry and made day trips for business from CLT to DFW or LGA while working on her first master’s degree.

Before these experiences, she was a law enforcement officer in the mid-1990’s, before the development and implementation of crisis intervention trainings and evidence-based protocol had been established for behavioral health and mental health in policing. Fundamentally, she knew that there had to be a better way.
